What Is the Quadoo Alphabet?

Quadoo is an alternative geometric writing system, not a spoken language. It is designed as a set of symbols for A–Z that you can draw inside a square using straight lines.

Instead of learning curves and handwritten strokes, Quadoo uses a simple construction method: connect numbered points of a square in a specific order. This makes the alphabet consistent, repeatable, and easy to practice from a chart.

How Quadoo Letters Work (Point Connections)

Quadoo letters are defined by point-connection sequences. Points 1–4 are the corners of the square, and some symbols also use point 5 in the center.

A sequence like “3-2-4” tells you how to draw the symbol: start at point 3, draw to point 2, then draw to point 4. Following the same sequence produces the same Quadoo letter every time.

On this page the chart shows Quadoo symbols as geometric glyphs. The pattern text is used only as an instruction system to help you recreate the shape.

How to Write Quadoo Symbols Neatly

Start by drawing a square guide lightly (or use the worksheet). Then connect the points in order with steady straight lines.

Focus on clean corners and consistent line thickness. Quadoo symbols look best when each letter fits the same square size and the spacing between letters is even.

Quadoo does not use uppercase and lowercase. Treat every symbol as one standard form and aim for consistent geometry rather than speed.

How to Use Quadoo for Practice and Encoding

A practical way to learn is to encode and decode short text. Write a word in Latin letters, then replace each letter with its Quadoo symbol from the chart.

If two symbols feel similar, practice them as a pair. Draw each one five times, then alternate them to train your eye and hand to spot small differences.

For speed, learn the construction patterns first. Once you understand the point system, Quadoo becomes a “drawing method” instead of 26 separate memorization tasks.

Download Quadoo Charts and Worksheets

Use the Quadoo PDF chart for printing, the PNG image chart for quick reference, and the worksheet for structured practice.

A simple routine works well: pick 5 letters, draw each symbol slowly, then review the chart and correct the shapes. Repeat daily to build muscle memory.

If you are designing with Quadoo, the printable chart is also useful as a consistent reference when you recreate symbols in graphics or handwriting.
